Founded in 2004 by Nick Howse and Mark Jackson, our team has many years’ combined experience in all aspects of affinity, data marketing and media planning.
With offices in Buckinghamshire and Bristol, our current clients include blue chip companies and high profile brands, as well as educational establishments, public authorities and trade unions.
Nick spent several years working for the marketing arm of Bank of Scotland’s affinity credit card business. Affinity partners included the likes of RSPCA, Arsenal FC, UNISON and the NSPCC.
Nick also helped pioneer the first large scale direct sales operation in the credit card industry as well as being the first to use new venues such as service stations and railway concourses.
Earlier in his career, Nick worked for organisations including AXA Sun Life, Hazelwood Foods and also Lifecycle Marketing (part of the TNT Post Group).
Nick lives with his wife and two daughters in Bristol, England and admits to supporting Bristol City FC, especially after they’ve won.
After 6 years’ service for Lloyds Bank plc, followed by a role within International Sales for a UK record label, Mark entered the Direct Marketing Industry in 1997 where he spent the next several years.
Working for a leading list management & planning agency, he created a successful sales & marketing division whilst simultaneously managing a team of list sales professionals.
Mark has also held senior sales & marketing roles at Lexicon Marketing and Lifecycle Marketing, where he met colleague Nick Howse before jointly founding affinity marketing specialists Howse Jackson Marketing.
Mark lives with his wife and 3 children in Buckinghamshire. A passion for anything with wheels, he can also be spotted at nearby Silverstone, but perhaps not as often as he would like!
Ian worked with Equitable Life from 1999 to 2005 before moving to Howse Jackson Marketing where he now heads up the company’s digital division.
Responsible for producing digital catalogues, magazines and brochures as well as email marketing and data acquisition, Ian’s team work on a variety of blue chip accounts as well as public sector bodies and trade unions.
Ian lives in Buckinghamshire with his wife and two children. He can often be found covered in mud after taking his mountain bike out into the local woods.
Jez began his career as an account manager with Omnicom, specialising in direct marketing for brands as diverse as BMW (GB), Virgin Atlantic, Multiple Sclerosis Society and Arjo Wiggins.
With his experience in direct marketing he was asked to help PR a number of leading direct marketing agencies. Clients included CCHM:Ping, COAXIS, Gyro, WDPA, DLKW Dialogue as well as trade organisations including the IDM and MCCA.
Jez subsequently started his own consultancy focusing on the partnership of search engine optimisation and PR, two disciplines that together possess a powerful synergy.
He lives in St Leonards-on-Sea and can occasionally be seen swimming in the English Channel. We think he’s potty.
