The Goodwill Partnership teams up with the Mental Health Foundation
We’re delighted to announce that we’ve teamed up with the Mental Health Foundation, a leading UK charity committed to making good mental health a right for all.
Commencing immediately, The Goodwill Partnership will provide the Mental Health Foundation with home-visit, will-writing services that will allow their supporters who haven’t made a will to have one written by a solicitor at low cost (£98 + VAT). It is hoped that the initiative will inspire supporters to leave a legacy to the Foundation if they so wish.
It’s another stunning coup for The Goodwill Partnership, a company we co-founded in 2009 alongside leading will-writing company, Welcare Guardian. This year has been a particularly successful year for us and we’ve already teamed up with Arthritis Care, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to name just three charities – with more to be announced over this summer.
It’s testament to the hard work of all our staff and also, in no small part, to the success of the will-writing campaigns we have been running with our charity partners. Indeed, Macmillan Cancer Support announced record results for legacy will-writing as a result of its partnership with us. You can read the story here.
Other participating charities in our portfolio include The National Autistic Society, Motability, Sue Ryder Care, Rainforest Foundation UK, Prince’s Trust, National Osteoporosis Society and Princess Royal Trust to name just a few.
We are therefore delighted to welcome The Mental Health Foundation and help support the fantastic work it’s been doing in mental health. The charity’s work is primarily centred on prevention – with a belief that there is far more scope for interventions that prevent people developing mental health problems and which sustain recovery.
Mark Jackson, our Director, says: “Although mental health has been rising up the policy agenda, there is still some way to go until it receives the same funding and attention as physical health. We fully back the Mental Health Foundation and hope that by offering low cost will-writing services to its supporters, we can also assist the charity in raising much needed funds via legacy donations.”
We think that says it all!
